Hi everyone, i've just got Kind of a Big Deal and am considering going for People Know Me. However, i'm not sure whether to go for guardian or vanquisher, so what i want to know is:

1) Which is easier?
2) Which takes longer?
3) Which is easier to find groups for?
4) Which is better to do with h/h?
5) Which do/did you find more fun?

I'm looking for something to do until GW2, help me out

Also, does anybody have any title which they prefer/find easier? I already have all prots and ss/lb. Ty in advance

I've got both legendary vanquisher and guardian on my assassin, so I'll try to answer

1) Hard to say, both have their own difficulties
2) Vanquisher takes longer, that's for sure
3) No idea, I mostly h/hed
4) Vanquisher as far as I can tell, can be done by only H/Hing. Guardian though, required me to get human teams in 3 missions - Eternal Grove, Dzangour Bastion, Vizunah Square
5) I found guardian more fun. There's nothing better than doing Raisu Palace and learning I did it fast enough to earn masters even with normal mode timers

Guardian is more fun because vanquisher takes so much grind it's almost authistic.

Guardian is way easier. Plus, there are more people willing to do Guardian then to do Vanquishing (so its easier to find PUGs if you need them).

I liked going Guardian. It is probably also more difficult.

Vanquishing becomes boring quickly and takes a lot of time, I did Cantha and Elona, you usually kill all enemies and then you hug walls... at this point, I usually ask myself if it is worth it!

I went for Guardian first. Vanquishing just takes forever, and can be really frustrating in 4-6 player areas. I highly recommend finding at least one other person you can rely on to do either of them, as having another human and 3 heroes is way better than henchies to fill the spots.

If you have a good friend to do it with, I'd say vanquishing. You can have a great laugh when vanquishing with a mate (more often than not when you fail abysmally). If not, then guardian is the way to go. I myself am doing vanquisher.

difficult choce here,

1) I find vanquisher easier as i can do it with H/H, though it is even easier with help from 1 friend at least.

2) Vanquisher, as to do many of the guardian missions you are on a timer, so you need to do them fast, though having not done a lot of them maybe with difficulty will come more time spent tryign to master them

3) I have never seen anyone asking to do vanquishing, though if you have a guild they may help you. While i do see some asking others to pug for Guardian some areas never seem tohave anyone and others seem to have one group with mybe 6 players in it. so i think Pugs are difficult at any time

4) Vanquisher i have done in elona bsicaly with H/H easily, Guardain missions i usually need one person with heroes on most missions, some i would imagine would need whole groups

5) Vanquishing i find more fun as i get other titles with it, and its easier, HM missions are really frustrating when you cant get them done.

Vanquishing takes a lot longer. They both have their difficulties, but Guardian is probably a bit easier. You can sometimes find groups, or at least a person, wishing to try a HM mission but rarely if ever can you for Vanquisher. In any case, the best bet is to find a good friend or guildie who has similar goals as you and work through the title you wish to try. Made a great new friend - two actually - through pursuing Guardian. I had a ton of fun doing Guardian and its my favorite title completed.

Guardian = a semi enjoyable difficult skill bound title

Vanquisher= a grind bound title that you can rarely find anyone to "enjoy" it with.

I think the choice is clear.

Without something like that Vanquishing can indeed become the mind numbingly boring exercise described above.

so: Guardian imo.

Guardian takes more skill and less time than Vanquisher, and that's why you'll find most people respect it and prefer it.

25 Prophecies Missions, 54 Prophecies explorables
13 factions missions, 33 factions explorables
20 Nightfall Missions, 34 Nightfall explorables.
58 Total Missions, 121 Total Explorable areas.

That'll answer which takes longer, LOL. It's also harder because most missions have similar groups throughout, but explorable areas have diverse enemies scattered around (Trolls, Avicara, Ice Imps/Golems in Talus Chute, for example), so you've got to be ready for all of them.

i haven't done any of them...though I want to think that guardian is probably easier.. the only problem is getting a group to do it. It was hard enough finding groups to do for some of the dead places like ice caves of sorrow. there was like 2 people there >.> over like a 30 minute period.

i tried to do some vanquishing today... oh my god it was awful.

heres my advice on vanquishing... bring LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS of candy canes if you can get any.... and don't do barbarous shore... it just makes you cry q.q

I just got Protector of Cantha and I'm going for Guardian because I know the missions well, wheras my experience with all the zones is limited.

Guardian is easier because you rarely (if ever) fight mobs with more than 2 monks

Vanquisher is just annoying, mass groups of Spiteful Spirit necros, or many monks or multiple Ancestor's Rage rits.. you'll see what I mean

finished Legendary guardian 1st within 6days after HM was introduced, luckly did with 5 other friends, yes 5:P and yes, it is much much more fun than vanquisher. finished Legendary vanquish with one monk friend bout 3 weeks after guardian, very very boring and annoying, and some of the areas just...argggg(desolation area in NF), so, if u want to enjoy the game and at the same time getting titles, guardian, if u really really bored, vanquisher.
